| Journal Description : | The journal publishes materials concerning archeological research mostly in Poland and Central Europe. Texts refer to both excavation research results and studies concerning the material culture as well as reflections on research methods and methodology. The chronological scope includes all the epochs which are of interest to archeologists, ranging from the beginnings of culture to contemporary times. From 1976 the journal was published under the title Acta Universitatis Lodziensis, Zeszyty Naukowe Uniwersytetu Lodzkiego, Nauki Humanistyczno – Spoleczne, Folia Archaeologica. The journal has been published under its present title since 1980. Folia Archaeologica is an annual published by the Institute of Archeology of the University of Lódz.
